We Are An Evangelical Church

That means we believe and emphasize

  • The authority of the Scriptures
  •  Attainment of salvation only by personal faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ: His death, resurrection, and ascension to heaven
  • Biblical call of every Christian to a personal life of holiness unto God.

Our Tenets of faith

  • The Divine inspiration and authority of the Scriptures
  • The Trinity of Persons in the Unity of God-Head
  • The necessity for repentance and regeneration, given the utter depravity of human nature and the eternal consequences facing the unrepentant
  • Attaining salvation through personal faith in Jesus Christ’s redemptive work: His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension
  • The immaculate conception, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension, abiding intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, His second coming, and His millennial reign on earth
  • The justification and sanctification of believers through Christ’s finished work
  • The sacraments of baptism by immersion and Holy Communion
  • The baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers, with signs following
  • The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of edification and eqquiping of the church, the body of Christ
  • The five-fold ministry and leadership of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, as stated in Ephesians 4
  • Divine healing for all sicknesses and deaseses through faith in the name and power of Jesus Christ.
  • The call for every Christian to live a life of personal holiness
  • The eternal life of saints with Christ
